Natalia is a first-year environmental engineering graduate student, and this year she will be serving as the External Relations Chair for SWEGS! Natalia did her undergraduate studies at Cal Poly Pomona where she worked on research about managing water consumption in the agricultural sector and how to mitigate those challenges during droughts and as climate change continues to worsen. Natalia’s interests involve water treatment, equitable access to water, and sustainable buildings and infrastructure. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her (seven) cats, and listening to Spanish music. Additionally, Natalia enjoys swimming at the beach, hiking, weightlifting, and running (sometimes).
