Dr. Bashar Al Zghoul is a postdoctoral scholar in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Davis. His research focuses on how biofilms alter water flow and transport in porous materials, combining hydrology, microbiology, and modeling to explore new ways to control subsurface flow.  Outside of research, he enjoys traveling, camping, and playing soccer.
